As a reference point, I've got a Mensa certified IQ of 132. An IQ of <85 is considered mentally retarded. 100 is average. That means for each smarty like me, there's a few retarded people here in Texas that drop our state below the national average. [hat tip: mindfully.com]

This chart is a hoax.  I am a hardcore Democrat, and therefore can't stand distortion in any form - even if I so dearly wish it were true!  Anyone who smart enough to use the internet (or, internets as G.W. Bush calls it) for five seconds can locate the average IQ for each state themselves.  Interestingly though, the top 4 states are still Kerry, and the bottom 4 (out of 5) are still Bush...

Sorry, bud, but my Mensa IQ came out at 147. Not quite sure what you're saying on this chart, but if you're a regular at Foo's, you know where I stand. I woulda thought most Texans would be Republican.

Hey man, sorry that your team got SPANKED yesterday. I mean, even the Bills (who suck) didn't give up that much on the spread vs. New England. Of course, then again... Manning is a frickin' animal this year.

question:  can you readily tell the difference in a passing conversation between somebody with an IQ of 99 versus somebody else with an IQ of 101?

i couldn't.

...but that's probably because according some some moonbats, i'm just "dumb".  ;)

Whoever posted before me can not spell so I highly doubt they got above average on the IQ tests. And even if this is a hoax, the general gist is true : People who vote for Bush are just as idiotic as he is. (Before you start berating me for that, know that I am not saying they are idiots, just implying it.)

According to this you could draw one of two conclusions. The first being that G.W. Bush really is a man of the masses. Or the second, being that Bush and his team were smarter than Kerry's in dumbing down the rhetoric.

Either way my man won.

Out of fairness I should post my I.Q., but it was never tested. I guess that would put me in the average as I wasn't exceptionally dumb nor smart. My ASVAB was 127 though, if that helps.

anyone who has ever been to california can figure out pretty quickly that the average iq is not above average. Also, if 85 and below is retarded, then you would be an nieve to believe that the average person in mississippi is retarded.

My IQ is 138, but you dont even need to be inteligent to figure out that this is completly untrue.
